Maksim Chmerkovskiy is his name and dancing is his game. Ballroom that is.

He's back on the new season of 'Dancing With The Stars' thats premiering tonight after taking a year off from the show. The man can move as good as he looks.

I've been counting down the months, days and hours until this show comes back on and I have 40 more minutes to go!!

Our "Dancing with the Stars" spies tell us the drama has started, and there is already a casualty.

We're told comedian Jeff Ross got poked in the eye during rehearsal. Edyta was the pok-er, he the pok-ee. One of our spies says Ross was taken to the emergency room. Sources say a doctor has told Ross he cannot dance tonight.

And another injury -- Karina Smirnoff sprained her ankle, also during rehearsal today. She's expected to dance with partner Rocco DiSpirito.

Our fire department sources say two ambulances were dispatched to the location today, one at 11:31 AM and a second at 12:34 PM.

I didn't even know he was coming back! Yay! I'm a happy camper again! :D

I just happened to catch the last half hour of the show tonight, and what a pleasant surprise to see Maks back. I'm only hoping that his partner can hang in there & loosen up a bit, so that we will be able to watch them dance for a few more weeks!!!

Ross out of Dancing with the Stars
The first contestant to be eliminated from the US dance show 'Dancing with the Stars' is New York comedian Jeffrey Ross.

Eonline reports that Ross had to dash to hospital before Monday night's opening show when partner Edyta Sliwinska poked him in the eye.

He carried on with his performance but his cha cha cha failed to wow the judges and voting audience and his fate was sealed.

AdvertisementAfterwards he joked: "What a nightmare! They said Edyta was going to be easy on the eyes."

Yet again it was TV presenter Brooke Burke who was the judges' favourite, scoring 26, while singer Toni Braxton also impressed with her quickstep and scored 23.

Making less of an impression with judge Bruno Tonioli was actor Ted McGinley who was told "you grabbed your mambo with both hands and squeezed every ounce of fun out of it". Tonioli also advised realty TV star Kim Kardashian that she had "more wasted assets than Freddie and Fannie!"

Another couple will be eliminated tonight, leaving 11 to fight it out next week.

OH i am so glad i found this public forum!! i have been dying to chat about this show all week.
and yes Deb right after i drool over Maks i think of you !!!

no cheating on you know who, concert season is over and Dancing season is on!! besides sherry, "don't believe everything you read"!!!! ;)


i think this is the best season so far. loved Cloris Leachman, can't believe she is 82, i know she wont be around long for her dancing but i think they should let her stay for the comedy factor she is providing. i have to tell you i laughed out loud when jeffrey danced. after all those great dances he was so real, what the show is all about, i could see every man on my street in him trying to dance :lol: :lol: wonder who will go tonight. oh i also like chef Rocco. he really lit it up last night.

I was reading an online article today sayint that Warren Sapp was the male diva, making demands, putting people down. I hope this isn't true, I really like his dancing.
On the other hand, Maks looked great all three nights.
